Uncontrolled emotions, prejudices and fixed habits are retarding factors in all human development.

F. M. Alexander

This program offers a variety of learning structures designed to give teachers the opportunity to develop their skills in a supportive environment tailored to suit their individual needs and rate of growth. Placement is offered first to ATSNE graduates, then to graduates from AmSAT-approved courses as well as to those who are not members of the Society.

The Alexander Technique has been for me a profoundly illuminating education.  What started out seeming to be curious, small explorations into proprioception slowly revealed itself to be curious, large explorations into the nature of being.  Really.  Also, you’ve got to love an endeavor that brings the phrase “debauched kinesthesia” into your everyday awareness.
